Woman Sentenced In Crash That Killed Daughter

Police said that Jessica McKinley was driving drunk and traveling nearly 30 mph over the speed limit when she struck a traffic barrier along Nelson Road, 10TV's Patrick Bell reported.
McKinley's daughter, Lanayah McKinley, died on Jan. 6, 2009 from injuries sustained in the crash.

Police said the toddler was sitting in the back seat and was not restrained.
"If I could trade places with Lenyah, I would," McKinley said. "And I can't. And I blame myself every day."
McKinley was sentenced to three years in prison, Bell reported. In addition, her license will be suspended for five years after her release from prison.
