An Ohio Death Row Inmate
...is scheduled to be executed this morning. The U-S Supreme Court rejected Gregory Bryant-Bey's request for a delay. He killed a collectibles store owner in Toledo.
 
The Big Three Automakers
...say their business will come to a screeching if they don't get help from the government. Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler are in line to get $25 billion from the government. But that money is for designing more fuel-efficient cars. Now the CEO's say they need another $25 billion just to keep their companies afloat.
 
Ohio Could Really
...be affected if any of the automakers hit rock bottom. Up to 250,000 jobs could be on the line here in the Buckeye State. New car dealership sales account for nearly 18% of the state's total retail activity. One Chrysler dealer in the Cleveland area says in his showroom only used cars and a few select new models are leaving the lot.
 
The Founder
...and former superintendent of a Cincinnati Charter school pleads guilty to stealing thousands of public tax dollars. Wilson Willard, who established the W-E-B Du Bois Academy, accepted a plea bargain on three counts of theft and two counts of tampering with public records. Several other charges were dropped. Willard admitted to taking nearly $65,000 for personal use. He also billed the state more than $300,000 for students who did not really exist. Willard faces up to 18-years in prison, when he's sentenced in January.
 
It's Ohio State-Michigan Saturday
...at Ohio Stadium. Kick off is at noon. ABC will carry the game nationally. Michigan is 3 and 8 for the season. The Buckeyes are favored by 20-points. A win would earn the Buckeyes a share of the Big Ten title. And a good shot at a B-C-S bowl bid.
